ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS – CRANKCASE WITH SUPPORT FOR PEUGEOT The crankcase can be used to assemble both original or tuned cylinders. To assemble the new crankcase, it is necessary to take the engine block away from the frame, remove the entire engine and wash carefully all the parts to be reassembled again, the new crankcase included. ATTENTION: to open the crankcase, warm it up to a temperature of 250 degrees. Check the crankshaft and the pin bearing to verify if they are extremely worn, and in case replace them. Assemble the main bearings, warm the crankcase up, fit the felt and the oil seal, place the central gasket and assemble the crankshaft by closing the crankcase uniformly. Assemble the cylinder fixing studs, cut the gasket that exceed using a blade, place the main gaskets, assemble the cylinder by checking that the piston pin lockers enter perfectly in their housing and they do not have slack, assemble the piston rings, the cylinder, the head gasket and the head tightening the nuts uniformly. Place the reed valve using the proper gaskets and assemble the intake manifold using the screws supplied IGNITION: assemble the ignition and carefully check that the advance is like the original one. Complete the assembly procedure of the parts, place the engine on the frame being careful to insert the original central bush. Connect the earth-wire supplied, from the engine to the frame. If you ask for more performance to your crankcase, we recommend you should install a Polini cylinder kit available in different models and displacements and one of the special mufflers.
